Baby brag book

This ABC is cute, you press a button and it lights up, if you look at the B that is lighted up, little welcome block on the corner there. Here is one of the pages with the shirt on.
.

Yesterday I made one the girls a brag book for her new baby that she is having next month, hopefully she will get inspired to start her own book for her family, wished the supplies was around when my boy's was little. On one of the pages I put a little shirt that I made, Luca the dad is from the Islands, in the summer we see him dressed in shorts and his Hawaiian shirts, his saying is "you can take the boy from the Islands but you can't take the Island from the boy".

Message

Sorry for being late in posting, time flies and the next thing ya know its a month gone by already, I have been going to the gym 3 times a week, my dieting is slow, I have tried to go black onto Slimming world then Weight Watchers but not working out so know I am trying Rosemary Connolly diet and that seems to be OK, its low fat and exercise every day I've even put my husband on it as he is getting fat.
Also looking for a part time job but its very limited here in town.
I will be teaching a couple of classes at the Crafty Women craft group @ Christchurch this year, we are still working out the dates and such.
So at the Brandon group we are doing the Exploding Box this month and posibly at Christchurch next month.

Altered Clipboard 2

Ok here is another board, could not upload on previous post as the blog would not let me, so this one is to hang up, its a Prayer board. The big circles in the middle have little gems, I have used Craftworkcards card candy www.craftworkcard.co.uk , they are paper brads with out the backing, come in candy colours.
I used some more of the scripture sticker's and some 3D butterflies, coloured ribbon, tag.

I did a flower that I got instructions from my Magnolia Ink magazine, lovely mag.

I made a mini book for scriptures, you could put photos in. I just punched a few cards from my large circle scallop punch, hole punch at the top and held together with an eyelet.

Altered Clipboard

Here is a clipboard that is usable, I bought a plastic coloured clipboard from Tesco £1.30, then I covered with papers and embellished with flat embellishments, I covered the whole thing with clear sticky back plastic.
The scripture sticker were a Christmas gift from a friend who goes to the States each year in November, so she brought me some goodies.
At the top on the clip are assortments of ribbons, this project went well at class last month, so well that one of the young girls went shopping to make more at home. I took pictures of the class projects with my mobile but I need to figure out how to load those up.

Mini Exploding Box

Inside of box I put a butterfly in. i did ink the edges on the paper, the paper is on both sides of the tabs so you could journal on the reverse.
Top of the box using 3D outline stickers and colouring in with Sakura pens, let them dry before cutting out.

Well I made this from a craft magazine that I bought, the only thing it is a bit small, so for the class I will be making it bigger, saw one in YTC, I believe Anni Hafermann did a class on it, but I will have to guess the measurements for mine, the small one is ok for those passport photo sizes or if you have a printer at home to make small pictures, which for me is more expensive.

Cupcake/ Muffin box

I found the instructions for this box on the web, through Scor-pal www.scor-pal.com , so if you go there click onto the project section and scroll down to ONE CUPCAKE BOX for tutorial.
I used some of my scrap material to see how it would turn out, and as it turned out ok I will give it away to one of girls in class, although I will be filling the box with some Thorton Choc. as she does not like cake. I used the nesties for the tag, I think I need to buy some more in smaller sizes.
The front of the box I cut a see -through window with my scallop punch and I used some acetate I had to cover, the flower was done with the flower punches I have and in the centre I put a purple gem instead of a brad. You don not have to put a window in as it is one of those optional things.
Note to my friend Debbie, you could do this for the office, does not need alot of materials, and you would not have to embelish, just nice card of double sided paper.
